“I've always had a fascination for these gentle giants. Perhaps the nostalgia intrigues me, but more importantly, I am moved by the sense of camaraderie these horses have. I've had the pleasure of working with teams for several years and this mutual scratching scene is a favorite of mine. The horses' expression of pleasure always brought a smile to my face. I hope "Buds" stirs good feelings in the viewer as well.” – Cammie Lundeen
