“Grace and speed as the 1950’s era skier flies downhill were my intent when designing “On the Edge”.
A contra-posto pose caught in time seemed to me to express that rhythm of planting and turning. With his center of gravity forward, a sense of balance is hopefully infused into the sculpture.” – George Lundeen
