The Story Behind the Piece
““Forrest” is a Clydesdale colt who belongs to a good friend of mine. He was born on our ranch in June 1998. Unfortunately, his mother died when he was one month old. This left my friend, Linda, and I in charge of mothering Forrest. It has been quite an experience, full of sadness at first, but now, pure joy.
As proud moms, we always grin and yell, “run Forrest run,” when he plays. He is quite comical with his big knees almost hitting his chin. He is now a thriving 750-lb. lap-Clydesdale.” – Cammie Lundeen
