The Story Behind the Piece
“Robert Frost continues to be recognized as America's favorite poet. Poems about "The Road Not Taken", "Good Fences Make Good Neighbors..." and "Miles To Go Before I Sleep..." have held the heart and soul of America since the beginning of the twentieth century. My portrayal of Robert Frost led me on a journey that would make my English professors proud. Along with an intensive search for good photos, I happened to read a good many of the poems by my subject.” – George Lundeen
